A tabletop loop, narrow or wide, and four pieces that are trains

Toy Car Kit is a slot-car set you can see from across the room: narrow track, wide track, striped versions of both, caps, corners, curves, loopings, straights, hills, a skew. One hundred and twenty-nine of the models here are that kit. Train Kit adds four pieces that are named track and are railway, not a toy loop. They will not connect to a looping, and a looping will not connect to a gauge. The cars that ride the toy track are in the same pack under other names, inside the toy collection and the vehicle collection.

The template for the toy loop is the kart racer, played small, or a tabletop race you ask for on top of that brief. The racing maker page already says racing is wider than cars, which is the licence to make the cars tiny. The full-size asphalt is the road page, and the coaster is the coaster page. The genre guide lists karts under racing. A physics sandbox is the other honest home, if the pleasure is the looping rather than the lap time.

Pick narrow or wide and build one closed loop with a single looping or a single hill, not both on the first try. Stripes are how a second lane stays readable, and they are premature until one lane returns to its start. The caps are how a piece ends when you are not closing the loop. A hill that begins without the piece that ends it is a ramp into the air, which is funny once and broken after that. Leave the four train-kit tracks on the railroad page, where the rest of their family is.

Ask Flockbay, from the kart template, to lay a closed loop of wide toy-car track with one looping, and to put one toy car on it, with the narrow kit and the train tracks absent. Press Play and watch a lap from above, the way you would watch a set on a table. If the car cannot enter the looping, the corner is from the narrow family or the car is a full-size racer.
