Train Kit’s rolling stock is the point of this page: a locomotive, a tender, wagons, a flat, a short flat, logs, a box carriage, coal, containers in blue, green and red, dirt, a flatbed, lumber, a tank, a wood wagon, a connector, diesels lettered out, an electric bullet, a city electric, a subway. Holiday Kit adds a few models whose names start with train, from a Christmas set, and they will look festive next to a coal wagon whether you wanted festive or not. Coaster Kit adds a log-flume train and a monorail train, which are ride cars. The rails themselves are named railroad and live on the railroad page.

There is still no train template. The tycoon is the brief that can own a line, a yard and a timetable, and the tycoon landing page is the public version. The genre guide files it under simulation. The pack sits in the vehicle collection alongside cars and boats, which is a reminder that “vehicle” is not one game. A subway car and a pirate ship in one collection is the tag doing its job and the scene refusing to.

What to change first is the consist: one locomotive and two wagons that agree with each other. A coal wagon and a container and a passenger car and a log-flume car is a parade. Pick freight or passengers. The connector piece is how they become a train rather than a line of models. The holiday pieces stay in the holiday scene, with the cabin from the cabin page, unless the game is explicitly a winter railway. The coaster cars stay with the coaster.

From the tycoon template, tell Flockbay to put the locomotive and the coal wagon on a straight of railroad track, coupled, with the subway car and the log-flume car left out. Press Play and look down the train from the rear wagon. If the wagon floats or the gap would swallow a person, the coupler or the scale is wrong, and you name which. Kenney’s trains are CC0. A second wagon type is how the line gets a job, after the first two roll as one machine.
