A kitchen chair and a station seat are not a set

Thirteen chairs, from two rooms that do not share a century. Furniture Kit has a plain chair, a cushion, a desk chair, a modern cushioned chair, a rounded one. Space Station Kit has a chair with an armrest, a headrest, a cushion and a headrest together, which is a seat you strap into. Mini Dungeon has one chair, and it will look like a throne that got lost if you put it at a dining table. None of these are a sofa. The lounge pieces are elsewhere in the furniture pack, under other names.

The game is a room someone sits in. A life sim wants the Furniture Kit chairs around a table, because the loop is the room and the routine. A space survival wants the headrest seat in a corridor, because the loop is the ship. The life-sim landing page is the first of those. The genre guide lists both under their own headings. The tables those chairs belong against are the table page, and the whole room is the furniture collection.

What to change first is which room you are in. One chair from each pack in the same shot announces that you grabbed a search result. Pick the house or the station. Then sit a person in it, or the chair is a prop on a catalogue page. The blocky and mini people who can sit there are on the character page. Scale is the second change: a station seat built for a bulky suit will dwarf a mini character, and a mini character in a dining chair can vanish into the cushion.

From the life-sim template, ask Flockbay to put the plain Furniture Kit chair at the coffee table and a second chair opposite, and to leave every station seat out. Press Play, stand the camera at a sitting person’s eyes, and see whether you would pull the chair out. If the seat is at chest height, say the height of the seat in the chat.
