How much does Flockbay cost?

Nothing, on your own AI. Flockbay is free with your Claude plan (Pro or Max) or your ChatGPT plan (Plus or higher) in the app, your own agent over MCP, or your own API key. You pay the company that runs your model, and Flockbay nothing. Every new account also gets Demo, a small free allowance, to try the app first. Flockbay is free on your own AI: your Claude Pro or Max plan or your ChatGPT Plus or higher plan in the app, your own agent over MCP (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), or your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Generated art runs on your own Tripo and ElevenLabs keys. Every new account gets Demo, a small free allowance on a small, low-quality model. The download, the editor, Flockbay's tools and Play are free. Optional plans that run the AI for you are in the app. There is no browser editor, no cloud building, and no team or per-seat plan.

Your AI, which is Claude or ChatGPT in Flockbay's chat or your own agent over MCP, writes GDScript and scenes into your Godot project. It calls Flockbay's world tools for terrain, water, sky, weather, the player controller and props, builds rigged 3D models with the modeler, and playtests the game: a headless run, stdout and parse errors, viewport capture, input events and the live scene tree. You judge the result by playing it.

Windows first: the current release runs on 64-bit Windows with an Intel or AMD processor, and the Mac release follows later. There is no web version, no browser editor, no browser preview, and no mobile app.

Your AI does, and you can: it writes the GDScript into a real Godot 4 project, and Flockbay hosts the full Godot editor, Script editor included, beside the chat. You can open, read and change every file there, in stock Godot or in your own code editor.

Output is a normal Godot project in a normal folder on local disk. Games run locally on the copy of Godot bundled with the app. No streaming, no cloud rendering, no cloud building.

The model is yours. On your Claude plan, Flockbay runs Claude Code, and the model menu lists the models and effort levels Claude Code gives you. On your ChatGPT plan, it runs your account's models through the bundled Codex engine. On an API key, it runs any model the key reaches, and an agent over MCP uses whatever model that agent runs. Demo is a small, low-quality model for trying the app. Flockbay's optional plans run hosted models; the most expensive, like GPT-5.5 Pro, are on no plan and run only on your own key.
