A castle wall, a city façade and a bulkhead are three games

This is the largest category, and it is large because Kenney names a lot of architecture “wall”. Fantasy Town Kit and Retro Fantasy Kit are medieval streets and castle-adjacent fronts. Retro Urban and Building Kit are city façades, corners, round and square windows, doorways. Castle Kit is the battlement, the gate, the narrow stair, the pillar. Space Station Kit is a bulkhead with a different idea of a door. Prototype Kit contributes greybox walls, which are blockout and will show through any finished scene like a missing texture. Furniture Kit has a few pieces named wall that are interior. The mini packs add room corners.

A dungeon crawler wants Castle Kit and the modular dungeon pieces that are not all named wall. A city builder wants one city’s façades, not the castle. Space survival wants the station bulkhead. City façades fill the city collection.

The first change is to delete every pack but one from the scene, including the greybox. Prototype walls are for when you are blocking out a room and have not chosen art, and they should not survive into a scene you show someone. The second change is the opening: a wall with no doorway is a boundary, a wall with a doorway is a room, and a room needs a floor that came from the same kit. Window shapes are the detail that makes two buildings on a street into neighbours rather than copies. Use two window types, not ten.

From the dungeon-crawler template, ask Flockbay to build a short corridor from Castle Kit wall, a corner and one doorway, with no city façade and no greybox in the shot. Walk through the doorway in Play. If the corner leaves a gap you can see daylight through, name the corner piece you expected. Kenney’s kits are CC0. The city street is a different afternoon, and it starts from one façade with a door on the pavement, not from this entire list.
