A tower defense is a path, and this kit is the path

Tower Defense Kit is almost the whole page. High and low tiles, slants, corners inner and outer, a crossing, crystal, dirt, an end, a round end, a hill, a river as a bridge, a corner, a slope, a straight, a transition and a waterfall, rock, a spawn, a split. The path the creeps walk and the tiles the towers sit on are the same set. Four tiles from City Kit Roads are also named tile, and they are street pieces that wandered in because of the noun. They will not join a river corner without a seam.

This is the rare page where the template is exact. The tower defense template is a path, a spawn and a place to put a tower. The tower defense landing page and the tower-defense game maker page say the same thing: the map and the numbers are the game. The genre guide files it under strategy. Change the path before you change the crystal. A spawn, a straight, a corner and an end, with dirt under the towers and a river the path does not cross yet, is a level you can time with a stopwatch. Crystal tiles and waterfalls are the second pass, when you know the path is too easy or too long. The city-road tiles should stay out. A sidewalk in the middle of a creep lane is not a variant. It is the other kit.

From the tower-defense template, ask Flockbay to build a path from the spawn tile through two straights and a corner to the end tile, with dirt beside it for towers, and to leave the city-road tiles out. Press Play and watch one enemy walk it. If the enemy cuts the corner across the dirt, the path is not a barrier and you have learned something about the tiles, which is the useful failure.
