Flockbay vs Seele: one agent for everything, or a game on your disk

By Eduardo Orellana ·

Seele AI aims to do everything in one agent: games, images, video, 3D and code, with browser play and export to Unity. Flockbay does one thing: builds a game you own on Godot, after you agree what to build.

What Seele offers

SeeleAgent is a multimodal agent for games, images, video, 3D assets and code. Its site says it supports 2D and 3D games, with browser-playable builds, export to Unity 6 and an Unreal 5 workflow, and lists Steam, Apple's app store and Google Play among targets.

It has a free tier with credits. Commercial use requires an active Pro plan or above, and its site did not state prices on 26 September 2026. It says you keep ownership of what you create.

What Flockbay offers

Flockbay is a desktop app for Windows or Mac with Godot 4.7.2 inside. It asks questions and writes a brief before building, then writes GDScript and uses its world tools. The game is a Godot project on your disk, exported as a native Windows or Mac game.

Flockbay is free on your own AI: your Claude or ChatGPT plan, your own agent, or an API key. Selling needs no special tier.

Where Seele is the better pick

If you want browser play, mobile targets, or a Unity project, Seele covers platforms Flockbay does not. It also generates video, which Flockbay does not.

Where Flockbay is the better pick

If you want a native desktop game on an open-source engine with no licence fees, a brief that sets scope before building, and no separate tier to sell.

A practical test

Give both the same small idea, one room and one mechanic, and make three changes to the result. How each handles the third change tells you more than any feature list.

One tool or several

An all-in-one agent is convenient: one place, one account, one bill. The risk is depth: a tool doing everything may do each thing less well than a specialist.

A focused tool does less, and you may need other tools for video or marketing art. Decide whether convenience or depth matters more for your project.

What to check before paying

For Seele, the price of the Pro plan that commercial use requires. For Flockbay, whether a desktop-only game fits your audience.
