The auto-battler template starts with a shop with three units and one automatic fight. That is the smallest version of the loop that defines the genre: buy, place, watch the fight, adjust.
What to change first
Lose a fight, move one unit, and win the rematch against the same board. If the move did not matter, placement is superstition.
