The Hades style template starts with one room, a combo attack and a dash, and a choice of two boons after the fight.
You die, you go home, and someone there has a new line because you died. Hades (Supergiant Games, 2020) is an action fight in a run, plus a house. The weapons do not have to persist. The conversation does. 3D is optional. The original is a readable top-down arena, so do not start by building a continent.
What to change first
Write the home line for a failed escape before you add a second weapon. If home is a shop and nothing else, you have a roguelite without the style. The AI roguelike maker is the death. The AI RPG maker is the talk that survives it.
