Fishing game template
Cast, wait, strike, reel. The wait is the game, which is why it is not a race even though it shares this category. Sega Bass Fishing (Sega, 1997) is the arcade strike. Dredge (Black Salt Games, 2023) makes the wait unsafe. Stardew Valley (ConcernedApe, 2016) hides a smaller version inside a day. There is no fishing maker page, and a racing page would teach the wrong verb. Three kinds of fish in one pond is enough to know if the strike has timing.
