The 3D platformer template's jump still matters, but the miss is a loss of flow, not a fall into a themed pit. Keep the first arena small. A hub world is how you hide that the wall run does not work.
What to change first
Chain two wall runs before you add a score multiplier. If the second run does not depend on the speed of the first, you have a platformer with neon paint. The AI platformer maker is the jump. The 3D game maker is the bowl.
