Mundaun (Hidden Fields, 2021) does it with a pencil-drawn valley. A monster in the first minute skips the custom. The AI horror game maker and the horror game maker are the scare. What to change first
Show the custom once as hospitality and once as the threat, using the same gesture. If you need a different animation for the scare, the player never had a chance to misread it.
